This May, members of the team attended Countryside Days alongside North Yorkshire Society of Architects and DOMA Architects, helping introduce school groups to sustainable architecture and natural building materials.
Using a hands-on display of materials including hempcrete, straw, timber and natural insulation products, we spoke to students about how buildings can reduce their environmental impact and how architecture can play a role in creating a more sustainable future.
One of the most rewarding parts of the event was hearing the students’ questions and perspectives — from curiosity about how materials are made to wider conversations around climate, construction and design.
