Project Usher House, Selby

A new home in the curtiledge of a Georgian house replacing two dilapidated and badly constructed cottages.

Designed to maximise natural lighting it features south facing glazing to the ground floor kitchen and first floor living room and a pyramidal glazed rooflight over the stairwell to introduce light into the very centre of the dwelling.

Materials were selected to provide longevity with low maintenance and include sustainably sourced cedar cladding, copper gutters and downpipes. All internal finishes were very high quality and included a bespoke stainless steel staircase.
