Naomi from the Native team is running her first half marathon this month. Naomi has taken the plunge to raise money for a cause she is passionate about – housing!
Naomi says “home is a human right and the foundation of our lives, and yet what should be a safe space that allows people to thrive, rest, and connect with family has become an unstable source of anxiety for millions of people across the UK.
Shelter is an incredible charity who are not only at the forefront of campaigning for housing justice and policy change, but also offer online and one-to-one advise for those affected by housing issues and homelessness, a free emergency helpline, and offer free legal advice and attend court to help people who’ve lost their homes or are facing eviction.”
Naomi has set up a Just Giving page and has been baking and selling cakes to help her reach her £350 fundraising goal to help Shelter continue in their incredibly important work.
