As part of our ongoing partnership with York College, our architectural assistant Andrew gave a presentation on career paths within the construction industry. Having recently done his Part 1 & Part 2 in Architecture, he was able to give the students relevant advice in pursuing an Architectural undergraduate degree and an overview of the course as a whole. He was also able to discuss alternative career and educational opportunities within the field.
Native are actively involved in promoting the continued education of young people within the industry, from previously taking on work experience students, to more recently where we are offering places for the students to participate in a Course on the Retrofitting Traditional Buildings with Hempcrete, which we will be running at our new office project, Lingcroft Granary.
We hope to continue to work closely with York College in the future.
